Once upon a time (okay, not that... that long ago), I needed a backless booster seat for my daughter. She was heading out on a school trip, and she was finally big enough and old enough to use one. Score!
My son had recently outgrown his, so I figured—let me give this thing a good cleaning and pass it down. As a single mom, you get creative.
Because here's the thing: that bland boy print just wasn't going to cut it for my girl. I had some fun rose fabric lying around and thought, "It couldn't hurt to cover this up and make it pretty."
So I did.
And… wallahhh a passion was born.
What started as a quick fix turned into something I couldn't stop thinking about. Picking her up regularly after that and seeing all the backless booster seats with the same generic vibe against her rose fabric was next level. Why should kids be stuck with boring, generic booster seats? Why can't car safety be stylish? Why can't these things actually reflect our kids' personalities?
Welcome to the journey. I'm so glad you're here.
"The OG rose cover that started it all (don't judge the craftsmanship 😂)"

Today, Wild Child is all about giving kids (and parents!) booster seat covers that actually make a statement. From plush faux fur to eye-catching sequins, soft velvet to bold cowhide prints—every cover is designed to let your kid's personality shine through. Paired with a neoprene bottom fabric that is waterproof, thermal, warm, soft and fire resistant. Because let's be honest: if they're going to be sitting in that seat for years, it might as well be something they're excited about. And if it makes parents job easier. Even better.

That's how Wild Child was born—from one mom, one school trip, the thought that wouldn't let up and the belief that even the practical stuff in our lives deserves to be beautiful.
~xo still try'n not to blink!
